1796 25C Draped Bust Quarter PCGS G4 (CAC)
Important and highly sought after first year issue and the only date with the small eagle reverse. A mere 6,146 pieces were coined this year. Just 4 have received a CAC sticker for the grade and it is merited for this coin. The obverse looks VG with terrific detail and full border denticles. The reverse has the typical weakness in the design lettering at the border from 7-10 o'clock. No adjustment marks. A couple of very faint old time scratches are noted and are certainly commensurate with the coin that has spent so much time in circulation. A fabulous piece for the grade! Hurry, she won't last!
