1798 $1 Small Eagle 15 Stars Draped Bust Dollar ANACS EF40

My goodness, where do I begin? Holding this coin in my hand is truly a delight--as a first impression one considers the lovely toning in vibrant shades of navy blue, lilac, gold and rose. Luster is peeking through the color to add to the aesthetics. Then we consider the design details--all nicely defined with strong drapery lines, hair detail and eagle feather definition. An added bonus is the lack of adjustment marks anywhere on the coin. This piece is sublime and superb and needs to find a home in a high grade early dollar collection. Housed in an old ANACS holder (small size).
