1814 1C Crosslet 4 Classic Head Cent PCGS MS64BN (CAC)
Wow, what an amazing piece. Terrific planchet quality which is not the usual case for Classic Head large cents from 1808-1814. Many were struck on inferior copper planchets sent over from Britain, where they obtained salt air/water damage, which caused miniscule porosity. This piece is a welcome exception with superb eye appeal, strike, luster and light brown surface color. Sure to delight the fussy collector.
