1858 $5 Liberty Head Half Eagle PCGS AU55

Underrated and a sleeper date in the series with a mintage of just 15,136 coins! Rich orange peel gold graces clean fields. A few bagmarks are noted on Liberty's throat but are commensurate with the grade and one small scuff is noted near star 12.  Great detail. This is the type of coin you want to put away for a few years as only 19 coins grade finer at both services, an there appears to be potential for growth in  valuation.
