Wow! What a terrific example of this rare Philadelphia Mint issue of which just 10,630 pieces were coined. Somewhat reflective fields are a pretty complement to needle sharp, thickly frosted motifs. Breaks in luster and slight contact marks are noted--all commensurate with a coin that has seen minimal circulation. AU-58 is the finest grade that has obtained a CAC sticker, although there are 16 coins that grade higher from a technical standpoint, the finest is a mere MS62. Personally I would rather own this AU-58 with a CAC sticker than an MS-62 without one! We all know how hard it is to get a CAC designation on gold coins! A prize for the astute collector.
