1873 50C No Arrows, Open 3 Liberty Seated Half Dollar PCGS G6
What a great coin, especially for the assigned grade! The reverse looks full F-12 or better and the obverse is nice for a G-6 grade. Toned in gunmetal blue hues. Super nice for the grade and sure to delight the new owner. A classic rarity in all grades. The first example I have handled in years!
The rarity of the 1873 Liberty Seated half dollar No Arrows Open 3 can be attributed to several factors. First, the limited mintage makes it challenging to find these coins in circulation or in numismatic collections. Second, as the No Arrows variety was replaced by the more common Arrows variety, fewer No Arrows coins were saved or preserved. Additionally, the wear and tear of circulation over time have further reduced the number of surviving specimens in collectible condition.
