1886 5C Liberty Nickel CACG AU58+ (CAC)

One of the series keys and so fresh and original.  Booming luster and mint bloom accent highly lustrous fields.  Boldly struck with just the faintest hint of rub keeping this from a full Mint State designation.  There are a couple of teensy carbon specks that you need a high power loupe to detect, but they also lend to the originality of the coin--no one has ever manipulated the piece in any way.  Wisps of champagne gold toning only add to the aesthetic appeal.  What a prize.  POP 1 with the + designation for the grade at CACG, in fact, there are only 2 AU-58+ graded coins at PCGS and none at NGC.  A MUST HAVE piece for those chasing a top registry!
