1922 No D 1C Strong Reverse Lincoln Cent - Type 1 Wheat Reverse PCGS AU58BN (CAC)

A series key and exceedingly scarce and desirable in this lofty state of preservation. The perfect addition to a high quality Everyman Registry Colllection. Just a hint of cabinet friction is noted on the high points. The surfaces are remarkably well preserved. TOned in warm brown hues with wisps of golden overtones.  Amazing eye appeal and booming luster. Graded on the reverse, as the obverse die is exceedingly weak as during production, several dies became clogged with dirt and grease rendering the obverse details "mushy" and obliterating the D mintmark. This particular die pairing is known as the strong reverse and the detail is pronounced.
