1937-D 5C 3 Legs Buffalo Nickel PCGS XF40 (CAC)

A perennial favorite among collectors. The 3-legged Buffalo came to be through the overly zealous use of an emery stick to remove evidence of clashed dies by a mint employee, which in effect removed part of detail of the bison's foreleg from over-polishing of the die. This coin is steel gray in color with hints of ice blue and rose toning. Sharp motifs.
